CLASSICAL M - BAD GUY (1969)

Classical M (1967-1970), was a French trio from Paris. This scarce 7-inches seems to be their first (on two), recorded in 1969. Unfortunately, the band have never made an album, but Lion Productions released a twenty-four songs CD album in 2005.

SANTA MARIA - J'AI BESOIN DE TON AMOUR POUR ETRE HEUREUX (1974)

No informations about Santa Maria. This single is perhaps their fourth. The A side, (I need your love to be happy), is a good slow to chat'up during partys... forget it ! The B side is a pop-rock track with fuzzy guitar... more infos about the band are welcome...

Unique single for this obscure french groove/soul band, out in 1970 on Disc'AZ. "I want a girl" is a classical ballad, "What I'd like", on B side, is much more cadenced with a nice psychedelic touch. More infos welcome...

UTA - HIER AUJOUR'HUI DEMAIN / BAUDELAIRE (1969)

Uta Taeger is an actress born in Berlin, february 12th 1940, but in 1969, she made an appearance on this single out on Disc'AZ. A side is a french cover version of The Shangri-Las "Past, present and future", B side is a spoken-word performance of Baudelaire's poem "Meditation", (published in 1857 in his book "The Flowers of Evil"), with a background Heavy psych orchestra... Happy birthday Charles !
