The Obdurates was a band from Tourcoing. They created their own style : The beat-wave. According to the back cover of their second single, Beat Wave is the fusion betwen the sound of the 60's and the sound of the 80's. Several videos, from 1988, are visible on youtube...

This LP is apparently hard to find, and define as an "acid-folk masterpiece". Out in 1978 on Corelia, it was reissued on CD in 2008 by South Korean label Media Arte... More infos welcome !
